5.0 out of 5 stars Engaging, relatable, warms your soul, highly recommend Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on December 30, 2022
After reading through Forever in my Heart in just three days I just ordered another copy for my friend. This is the type of book you do not want to put down. The characters are totally relatable, the positiveness of Charlie, the strength in Julia and Emma, the sorrow of Jack and the gaiety of his niece, the obstacles they face as well as the comebacks, these characters come alive, so much so you will feel what the characters feel. Gave me a greater understanding of homelessness and the importance of reframing the stereotypes of homelessness, wrap in a miracle that can accompany an organ donation and see what a difference a little kindness can make. This book immediately ignited me to do more for others. I could not put this book down, kindness, hope, courage, makes me believe in others again. This is not your typical predetermined romance story, this has lots of twists and turns, just when you think you know the outcome, things change, certainly kept me guessing. We all need a Charlie in our lives. Beautifully written, a captivating and memorable read. Forever in my heart will warm your soul on cold day. I highly recommend this book you won’t be disappointed.

A Find Through Time came as a pleasant surprise to me. As it had been 15 years since I read a romance novel, I really didn’t know what to expect. What I read was a story that kept my interest from the start. Ms. Petit’s book is not one of those predictable,”cookie cutter” romance novels. It is intelligently thought out and obviously well reasearched. The characters are charming, and I could care about them. I couldn’t put the book down. I didn’t want to wait to find out what would happen next; and what did happen was often unexpected.
This book is a true “romance”; however, those “tender scenes” are at appropriate times and places, and tastefully written. Unlike most romance novels, they are a development of the story.
I recommend A Find Through Time as a wonderful bit of escapism reading. I look forward to the author’s next book.

5.0 out of 5 stars A captivating time travel romance sprinkled with mystery and suspenseReviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on May 23, 2020
Abigail (Abby) Stewart is a caring, smart, and courageous girl, but she lacks confidence in her looks and can’t get over Wyatt Beaufort—the football star and most popular guy in school who stood her up on prom night.
Even though she keeps a low profile, this feisty redhead with the emerald eyes has a secret…she can communicate with ghosts. It seems that this ability and her obsession with the local legend of Lolita—the Weeping Woman—somehow sweep her back in time to the gold rush era.
Abby finds herself trapped in the sexy body of Lolita while trying to prevent a gruesome crime. As if she didn’t have enough problems, the man who broke her heart and shattered her confidence is stuck back in 1852 with her.
I enjoyed the way the characters evolved, facing unthinkable and dangerous situations while discovering strengths and qualities they didn’t know they possessed.
Timeless River is a captivating time travel romance sprinkled with mystery and suspense. I enjoyed it immensely.

Be careful what you wish for…Abigail Stewart won’t win any beauty contests, but she can talk to ghosts. One day at the river where the California gold rush started, she encounters the spirits of two children who were murdered under the blue moon of 1852. Legend has it their beautiful mother, Lolita, had drowned them in the river, but now Abby is not so sure the legend is true. Heartthrob Wyatt Beaufort is a spoiled rich-kid in college; he’s all about football and pretty women, and he doesn’t remember the date he had missed with Abby for Senior Prom, a jilt she has not forgotten. She wants nothing to do with him, but in a cruel twist, the two are whisked back in time to a harsh mining camp where Abby finds herself trapped in Lolita’s beautiful body, a woman who has eyes for Wyatt and a wicked temper. Their struggle to save the children tests the power of a mother’s love and the true meaning of inner beauty.

This is a wonderful love story. A man still mourning the loss of his wife but also feeling so much resentment and pain from her betrayal. A young woman who has had a rough life crosses his path when he rescues her when she escapes from her evil guardian and takes refuge in the woods. The unfolding of this love story is beautiful and Rebecca, Philip’s deceased wife, is still walking the halls of her home because she has not found her peace either. Well written, I couldn’t put it down. I will continue to read anything written by Marianne Petit!!

5.0 out of 5 stars I Fell in Love With a Mixling!Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on March 12, 2014
I have to say this book went way beyond what I had expected! I savored this novel as one does a good dessert. Two ill fated lovers meet by fate as they travel into different mystical realms searching for different reasons. They encounter many evil creatures beyond their wildest dreams .The gods keep trying to keep them apart but their passion- and I mean passion keep them on a dangerous course to be together. Gareth is a `mixling’ one created from a deity and a mortal.I fell in love with this mythical hunk warrior with the author’s vivid descriptions of his hard chiseled body, bravery and the way he could make passionate love to Cyrene. Cyrene is a warrior with virginal innocence but granted the strength of a lioness. There is a surprise Gareth and readers will learn in the end which will only lead to more mystery and suspense. I loved the ending of this book, however I surely hope Author Marianne Petit will bring back Gareth and Cyrene for more adventures.

Cyrenne’s life is pledged in servitude to the deity of the forest. She believes in obeying the deities, remaining chaste and that her abilities, as a warrior, are better than any man. When she catches the attention of the Storm Deity, and refuses his offer of immortality, he punishes her by besetting fear upon her. Her comrades die when she is unable to fight. 5.0 out of 5 stars WW 2 fiction with characters you really care aboutReviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on September 2, 2020
I loved the book. The setting, WW2, was engaging enough — but the characters were amazing. Smart, brave, generous, loving — this book is one you will not want to put down (I read it in 2 days) I was totally engaged with the story and didn’t really want the book to end.

Author Marianne Petit mixes true life experiences with fiction to create a suspenseful tale of intrigue and romance set in the early days of war-torn France.
In 1940’s Paris, both rich and poor are thrust together, a mixed society struggling to survive. In the middle of espionage and clandestine rendezvous, they form a partnership that deepens under the ever-present threat of arrest. But with America’s interest in the war building in the background all Americans are ordered to leave.
Will Yvette return to the States, or will André persuade her to stay and fight for love?
